We are so excited that Thanksgiving is finally here! As most of our patients know we all love to cook, and enjoy having gatherings with family and friends. We are working till noon today and will be back in the office on Tuesday November 27th at 8:00 am. We hope you enjoy your holiday with family and friends, while indulging in lots of yummy special foods.
I hosted a small Thanksgiving with my family on Sunday as I’m going to my in-laws tomorrow. Tradition is important to my family, so it was nice to all sit down together at the table, enjoy a delicious dinner and of course my favorite pumpkin pie while talking about what we are all thankful for this year. I come from a very large family, and when I was younger my grandmother always hosted. What I loved, was that no matter how many people my grandmother had at her house she always made sure there was a seat for everyone; this became a special tradition to me. I continue to cherish that tradition, and carry it on at my house during the holidays and any special family dinner I host. We all live very busy lives and I think the holidays are a great reminder to slow down and enjoy that special time with family and friends, especially ones you may not get to see often. So, tomorrow when you are with your families eating delicious food, make sure to cherish the moment and discuss what you are all thankful for.
